Welcome to Langridge Plant Sales inc.

This company was started in 1982 by Harold and Linda Langridge as basically a tomato farm.  After only a short time in business Harold realized the opportunity to sell vegetable plants to the local full service garden centers.  Considering  he would have control of the environment inside of  greenhouses, he quickly tilled under the tomato crops and built structures.

In 1999 the company was purchased by Tony Carter, who was at the time the General Manager. With the same staff in place the company continued to grow to the point it is today. LPS now operates on 20 acres in lower Belle Chasse, Louisiana, which includes 70,000 sq. ft. of greenhouses and 4 acres of outdoor production.

The company has gone from vegetable plants to annuals, perennials, ferns and flowering and evergreen shrubs.

Its latest venture into flowering and evergreen shrubs and trees has proven to be a big benefit to its clients

LPS continues to strive to serve its customers who are full service retail garden centers and licensed landscape contractors.
